STEP BY STEP 2
"Step by Step 2 - A good practice guide for those involved in youth work" (Reference PE189) is a follow up guide to the original Step by Step, which was produced in March 2004.
As before, it offers practical advice and information to anyone considering or currently working with young people. Step by Step 2 updates the basic issues, policies and procedures affecting work with young people in the Church and wider community. It looks at several current issues in ways to enable people to gain a general understanding of the topic and determine how to apply theory to practice.
It is written by Keith Elliott, Kirsty Middlemist and Martin Snell. The cost is £4.99 and it is available from Methodist Publishing House (

"Step by Step 2 Fact Cards" (Reference PE289) are also available. Copies of the fact cards come in packs of 70 - five of each card.
Cards are available on Drugs - alcohol and cigarettes, drugs, pressure points, questions about Christianity, Christian events for young people, bullying, depression, eating disorders, mental health, self harm, sex, stress, charter for protecting young people, abuse of children and young people.
