COUNCIL PRAYERS
At a meeting earlier in March Devon Church Leaders, including our own Chairman of District Revd John Carne, discussed the issue of councils in Devon giving consideration to abandoning the practice of beginning Council meetings with prayers.

The letter was sent to all Devon Members of Parliament and local government authorities in the county, and a press release is being prepared to go to the media. A copy of the letter is available for download here as a PDF file.
