Safeguarding
The District has put together a detailed Safeguarding Policy for those working with children and vulnerable adults within circuits and churches. The policy is available for download in PDF format here, either as a complete document or in separate sections.
The District's Safeguarding Team also has a dedicated phone line for Safeguarding concerns:

SAFEGUARDING TRAINING
As the Methodist Church in GB, we have developed a nationally approved training scheme based around the Foundation Module for youth/children/vulnerable adult workers and those in positions of influence (approx. one third of our members). Plus we are delivering the Leadership Module for all ministers and safeguarding officers. The scheme is called Creating Safer Space (more details here).
